“'Connection' is a complex work with many layers. I have largely captured the outside view of the faculty based on the stories I have heard, seen and read. This search brought me words such as: collaboration, society, connection, interaction, people, people, orange, knowledge, Erasmus, education, research, innovation, city. I searched for objects and was presented with them. This is how I came up with the orange cloth, which represents connection and movement. The 'moving' canvas represents the connections between the 'pillars' of the faculty. Interactions that are entered into internally, within the faculty and externally with the university and with society. The objects on the pillars represent the problems being worked on. Climb the ladder of knowledge together so that it grows. For me, the image of Erasmus represents this growth and change. Everyone within the faculty contributes and can bring about change, in people and society.”
